The Rest Of My Life by Sheryl Browne

You can’t run away from commitment forever …

Adam Hamilton-Shaw has more reason than most to avoid commitment. Living on a houseboat in the Severn Valley, his dream is to sail into the sunset – preferably with a woman waiting in every port. But lately, his life looks more like a road to destruction than an idyllic boat ride…

Would-be screenplay writer Sienna Meadows realises that everything about Adam spells trouble – but she can’t ignore the feeling that there is more to him than just his bad reputation. Nor can she ignore the intense physical attraction that exists between them.

And it just so happens that Adam sees Sienna as the kind of woman he could commit to. But can he change his damaging behaviour – or is the road to destruction a one-way street?

I received this book for review as a part of the blog tour hosted by LegitLit books.

*SPOILERS*

I asked for this book particularly for Adam. He isn’t your stereotypical bad boy or a gentleman. He is somewhere in between and makes you swoon for him.

The book itself started out slow, but I immediately liked it because it is set near the ocean and books near the oceans are always just so romantic!

I really liked this book. It had the perfect blend of this sweet, naive girl, yet strong and firm and the cocky and gorgeous boy. Their meeting was just so unfortunate, though!

The characters were amazing. Everyone of them played the part brilliantly and you actually felt for them. They seemed real and you would want to keep them close to your heart. My favourite was Nate ❤ He was there when everyone else had given up hope, even though he was on the verge of giving up hope himself.

What was a little disconcerting for me is that even though Adam and Sienna hadn’t had much interaction, they find themselves falling in love with each other. I don’t find that appealing.

If you love romances, second chances and sunsets-at-sea, this book is perfect!
